  • Please make an appointment at least 1 day prior to your preferred medical treatment date for a smooth process.
  • If you do not make an appointment in advance, waiting time may be longer and you may not be able to receive timely medical treatment.
First visit place Visit windows No. 3 on the 2nd floor of the main building. Visit the International Healthcare Center on the 1st floor of the main building
(It is near 7-Eleven, convenience store)

On Saturday, visit windows No. 3 on the 2nd floor of the main building.

Necessary materials Alien Registration Card Passport or ID card (with photo)
If you bring medical records and images (CD, film) from other hospitals, please let us know when you submit your ID.
Reception of medical treatment (hospital registration)
  • Mon. ~ Fri.: 8:00 ~ 16:30
  • Saturday: 8:00 ~ 11:30
  • Closed on national holidays and May 1 (Worker's day),
    Opened only in the morning on May 9 (Hospital anniversary)

Please arrive 15 ~ 20 minutes prior to the closing of reception for hospital registration before your scheduled medical treatment.

  • Reception hours: 8:00 ~ 16:30 / Consultation hours: 8:30 ~ 17:00 (The consultation hours may vary depending on the circumstances of each department.)

    Medical Treatment Procedure

    New Patient Reception
    (frist visit for medical treatment)

    If you are new to the hospital, fill out an application form for medical treatment and submit it with your ID card to the No. 8 window on the 2nd floor,receive a receipt including consultation ticket and your hospital ID card and submit them to the reception of corresponding medical clinic.

    Reception of Recurrent Treatment

    In case of re-visiting for medical treatment, take a waiting number slip and wait until number is shown on the electric bulletin board and go to the designated reception/payment window and then submit waiting number slip and your hospital ID card. You will receive a receipt including consultation ticket and submit it to the reception of corresponding medical clinic.

    Payment Method

    Payment at Window

    After receiving medical treatment, submit the consultation ticket or a previous receipt with a waiting number slip to the designated reception/payment window. You can pay medical expenses by credit card or Korean cash.

    Unmanned Payment Machine

    • After receiving medical treatment, you will receive a receipt by paying medical expenses using the unmanned payment machine in front of the reception/payment windows on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
    • When you use an unmanned payment machine, you can receive an out-of-hospital prescription drugs at the same time as the payment of medical expenses quickly and easily.
    • Location: In front of outpatient elevators on the first floor, in the Maternal and Neonatal Center, in front of the payment windows on the second floor of Dementia Cognitive Impairment Center (Maria Building), in front of payment windows on the third floor, in the of the Digestive Center on the 3rd floor, Rehabilitation Treatment Room on the 5th floor
    • Korean cash and credit card are available. (Only for Korean National Health Insurance holders)

    Medical Treatment Request Form

    • The Catholic University of Korea Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital is a secondary medical institution.
    • Patients with national health insurance: You can get insurance benefits without a medical treatment request form.
    • Patients with a medical care: In case of preliminary medical treatment, you need to submit a medical treatment request form issued by a primary medical institution (hospital/clinic) and public health center.

    • Patients who have a medical treatment request form issued by a local hospital or a clinic should visit the Medical Treatment Cooperation Center (No. 3 Desk, Main Building 2F).
    • Conduct medical consultation for patients who are in need of selecting a medical treatment clinic.

    1. Step 1 Make an appointment

    2. Step 2 Visit International Healthcare Center

      Location: 1st floor of the main building (near 7 Eleven)

      Operation hours: Mon. ~Fri. 08:00~17:00
      Saturday: No operation (Visit the no. 3 window on the 2nd floor of the main building and receive medical service consultation.)

    3. Step 3 Reception for medical treatment

      Submit the <next schedule instructions> received from the medical clinic to an international coordinator and receive guidance (payment, examination, treatment, medication, etc.)

      How to pay your medical expenses?

      • You can pay your medical expenses by credit card or Korean cash at the payment window.
      • Information regarding direct billing
      • Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital has agreements with the following partner organizations to provide convenient and cashless services to overseas insurance holders.
        Korea International SOS
        GAP (Global Assitance Partners)
        Prestige International : only in Japanese insurance
        Tricare Overseas Program (International SOS)
      • If you are a foreign insurance holder, please contact your insurance company in advance to inquire whether you can get a guarantee of payment from the places listed above that have a partner agreement with Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital.
      • A guarantee of payment letter must be arrived to the International Healthcare Center or Emergency Medical Center (if you in) prior to medical treatment; otherwise the patient pays medical expenses to the hospital and claims it by themselves to the insurance company. Before you visit the hospital, you will need to check the required documents for your insurance claim and we will assist you in case of your request them.
      • Yeouido St. Mary's Hospital guarantees payment only for items guaranteed by your insurance company. The patient should be aware of the items not covered by your insurance company and have to pay them directly.

      • * Submit a consultation ticket or a previous receipt with a waiting number slip to the designated reception / payment window and receive a receipt after paying medical expenses.
      • * If necessary, ask your cashier for English receipt and English Medical Biling statement.
      • * Make sure that receive your hospital ID card with a receipt if this is the first time are paying for medical expenses at this hospital
    7. Step 7 Examination, treatment, medication

      After paying medical expenses, you will be examined and treated according to the schedule, and you will receive in-hospital medicines or an out-of hospital prescription drugs.

      Issuance of out-of-hospital prescription drugs

      2. ‘out-of-hospital prescription drugs’ issurane machine is used with ‘unmanned payment machine’
      3. Isuance prescription for outside pharmacies
      4. Outside pharmacy
